At Wanderoots, we embrace a holistic approach to wellness,
placing nature at the core of every journey. Our mission is to
nurture the mind, body, and soul by fostering deep connections
with the natural world, helping individuals rediscover balance
and thrive in a world that often disconnects us from these roots.
Our Beginning
Wanderoots was established in 2024 to provide education and guidance to individuals and groups on the benefits of forest therapy. We strive to create opportunities for everyone to connect to nature and in doing so, contribute to better mental and physical health for all but also a desire to care for our natural environment.
Our goal is to connect participants with nature as a way to cope with the effects of stress, anxiety and depression.
The benefits
Forest therapy, also known as forest bathing or Shinrin-yoku, offers numerous physical and mental health benefits. Immersing oneself in nature helps reduce stress, lower blood pressure, and boost the immune system by exposing the body to phytoncides—natural compounds released by trees. The calming environment enhances mood, promotes mindfulness, and improves focus, making it an effective way to combat anxiety and depression. Additionally, spending time in forests fosters a deeper connection with nature, encouraging relaxation and overall well-being.

““Just hanging out and basking in the forest was wonderful for clarity, intentional conversations, and new ideas! Plus I loved how tick and bug informed you were before migrating into the forest, so thank you for such a graceful and grounding experience!” ”
“Nadia has a rare gift for creating a safe, deeply connected space where you feel present, grounded, and inspired. Her calm presence and intuitive guidance made it easy to slow down, reconnect with ourselves, and draw powerful lessons from the natural world.”
“Nadia’s ability to articulate the principles of forest therapy so simply, then lead a truly transformative, guided experience, was masterful. Participants, myself included, emerged from her session feeling grounded, clear, and more deeply connected to nature. She didn’t just transform the energy in the room—she revitalized our connection to the forest itself, leaving us with practical techniques to enrich our daily lives.”
